    A highly resistant, elastic linear molecule in the skin's connective tissue, capable of binding a large number of water molecules for better skin hydration. The chemical structure of hyaluronic acid is classified as a glycosaminoglycan, a long sequence composed of two simple sugars, glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine.
    Hyaluronic acid plumps the skin and gives it greater plasticity and elasticity, also creating a water reserve. Hyaluronic acid creates various skin benefits according to its molecular weight. High molecular weight makes it last longer on the skin's surface for better short and medium-term hydration, whereas low molecular weight molecules penetrate the epidermis, plumping skin and smoothing wrinkles, with long-lasting soothing and hydrating effects.

  • Glicerina – GLYCERIN

    This small plant-derived molecule, also known as triol, bonds and interacts with water. In cosmetics, glycerine is valued for its property of retaining water on the skin's surface.
    The ability of glycerine to retain water on the skin's surface means the epidermis stays hydrated, a factor that increases skin elasticity and also improves resistance and eliminates the feeling of dry, taut skin.

Our products are microplastic free

Primary microplastics are used in cosmetic formulations to create matte effect, skin texturizing and physical scrubs. However, they are responsible for serious environmental damage. They pollute seas and oceans, and are ingested by many forms of marine life, ending up on our plates and posing a risk to human health.

With a strict research and development process, Dermomed laboratories replaced raw materials classed as microplastics (under Annex VII of the European Commission's Microplastics Act of 2022) with natural raw materials. In this way Dermomed guarantees the same performance as always, eliminating microplastics from its formulas and guaranteeing sustainable products.
